The purpose would be to stir up the people of Burma against the threat of their
land being devastated, arouse fear that their men will be enslaved to take care of the
great army needed in Burma to meet the thrusts ofthe United States, and arouse fear
anxiety that all their food will be grabed by the Japanese when their supply lines are
cut off by the United Nations' soldiers.
