This webpage, like all my others, is under construction. I have not yet researched the 1947 partition, but have chosen the title to point out that Pakistan has been led by a succession of military rulers for the majority of its history. When evaluating these reports, please consider the sources. The US embassy will report every rumor, and it's up to you to evaluate them. Thanks to Muhammad Aamir Mughal, C.M. Naim, and Mohammad Rahman for their inspiration and guidance. And also, of course, the many people at the National Archives who make this kind of work possible.
