Dot's Chocolate
Chip Cookies
Makes a double batch- Pre-heat oven to
350F
Cream together very well:
2 cups butter
1- 1/4 cups white sugar
1- 1/2 cups dark brown sugar
Beat in:
2- 1/2 teaspoons KCJ Vanilla Butter 2x
1- 1/2 teaspoons milk
4 eggs
In a separate bowl- sift or whisk together:
4- 1/2 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
Beat flour mixture into butter mixture a little at a time Stir in:
3 large (12 oz.) bags semi-sweet Chocolate chips.
1 to 1- 1/2 cups of your favorite nuts (optional)
Drop by heaping teaspoon onto a lightly buttered cookie sheet.
Flatten cookie dough a bit.
Place on middle rack, bake until half done. Then move the cookie sheet
to the top rack and continue baking until edges just starts to brown.
Remove the cookie sheet from the oven, cookies should still be soft.
Allow cookies to cool on the cookie sheet.
