A: Yes, When it is manufactured from organic crystals found

Natural Clear White Vanilla made from the organic crystals

These natural crystals are the compounds that give vanilla
its characteristic flavor. The Natural crystals found
on vanilla beans are very expensive- wholesale prices run
about $2,500 to $3,000 per kilo (2.2 lbs)

A:
Artificial vanilla is made from toxic by product of
the paper wood pulp industry or it is produced from
petroleum -chemicals. This synthetic chemical is
called Synthetic Vanillin (when labeled only Vanillin -it is
the synthetic Vanillin). Several large companies in
the USA, Mexico, and elsewhere Start their vanilla with real
vanilla beans and then add synthetic Vanillin to make
it stronger. They then call it " Our award-winning Original
Double-Strength Vanilla -- exquisite Pure Vanilla, fortified
for bake-proof, freeze-proof, extra-strength flavor." They
often don't tell you that "Fortified" means that
they have added the artificial synthetic Vanillin. They
don't explain what synthetic vanillin really is. They
also offer the product as just "bake-proof, freeze-proof,
extra-strength or Double Strength Clear Vanilla flavor or
Extract" -In the USA the clear Vanilla Made with synthetic
Vanillin, will say somewhere on the bottle -"imitation
vanilla or artificial vanilla". In other countries they do
not specify on the label that it is made of or contains
synthetic Vanillin. Synthetic Vanillin is a very
very cheap product, and the extracts made from them
have a with a huge mark up.

cup vegetable shortening
1/2
cup Butter
1/2
tsp. KCJ Clear White ALL Natural Vanilla
Extract (or to taste)

pkg. (16 oz.) confectioners' sugar, sifted
2 to
3 tbsp. milk
BEAT
vegetable shortening and butter in large
bowl with electric mixer on High speed
until creamy. Beat in Clear Vanilla
Extract.
BEAT
in confectioners' sugar, 1 cup at a time,
on low speed until well blended. Add milk,
beat on medium to High speed until light
and fluffy.
Makes 2 cups.

Use in recipes when you want to keep the
perfect white color and the great flavor
of vanilla.
